    An attorney and lifelong runner and tennis player, Amy has focused her career on the intersection of gender-based violence and financial security. As an expert on economic abuse and the impact of U.S. financial and other systems on survivors, her advocacy and systems change strategies drive meaningful progress both on and off the playing field, advancing financial security for all survivors of harm.  

    Amy has authored several successful grant applications, including a winning submission for the Equality Can’t Wait Challenge, which secured a $4M grant from Melinda Gates and McKenzie Scott. Amy also conceptualized, developed, and authored numerous reports, including Trust Survivors, which was cited in the New York Times. Her federal policy advocacy work includes drafting and advocating for the successful introduction of the Survivor Financial Safety and Inclusion Working Group Act in Congress earlier this year.

    Amy holds a B.A. from the University of Georgia and a J.D. from Georgetown Law.

    An attorney and lifelong soccer and lacrosse player, Jenna is a nationally recognized worker’s rights attorney, who has focused her career on the intersection of work and family and improving the nation’s social insurance programs. During her tenure at various non-profits, Jenna has led numerous policy campaigns, like passing the first-in-the nation fully paid parental leave law in San Francisco, expanding job-protected parental and caregiving leave to millions more Californians, and introducing one of the most comprehensive unemployment insurance reform packages in Congress in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Jenna approaches her work through a gender and racial-equity lens, working in partnership with grassroots organizing groups and reformers to pass worker-informed and centered strategies to improve state and federal policies. 

    Jenna has regularly been called upon to testify at the state and local levels. She has been quoted in numerous national and local publications, including the American Prospect, Cal Matters, KQED’s Morning Report and Forum, Marketplace, Newsweek, San Francisco  Chronicle, USA Today, and U.S. News

    Jenna holds a B.A. from New York University and a J.D. from Georgetown Law.
